HEY, WE’RE MATT & MORGAN

A married team based in the Okanagan, capturing honest moments through photo and video. Available Vancouver-Okanagan (and truly, anywhere).

We met in high school, fell in love, and have spent the last 8 years of marriage growing up together—learning to cook real meals (other than just Kraft Dinner), and overall figuring out this whole “adulting” thing side by side. We’re now navigating life with two little ones under 3 and our wild golden retrievers.

Originally from the Lower Mainland BC, we now call the Okanagan home. Whether it’s through nostalgic photos or cinematic films, we’re all about capturing honest emotions and those little in-between moments that make your love story unique. We’re proud to say that many of our clients don’t just stay in front of our camera; they often become lifelong friends!

When we’re not shooting weddings, you can find us hanging out at local coffee shops (Ratio or Bright Jenny are our go-tos), chasing our toddler around on his bike while holding our baby, tackling DIY home renos, or soaking up every bit of beach-town life here in the Okanagan.

  • LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER

    A type three on the enneagram, Morgan is a perfectionist and won’t settle until things are done the best they can.

    She is a little (okay a lot) addicted to Franks Red Hot Sauce, a lover of the ocean and everything in it, likes to see the best in people, and will always be caught with airpods in her bag.

  • LEAD VIDEOGRAPHER

    A type two on the enneagram, Matt is the guy who will always hold the door open at Starbucks for you (and he’ll wait for you from miles away).

    He is a geek when it comes to anything tech related and wants to travel the world. His cup is always half full (usually with black coffee) and is a keener for finding the best deal.

WHAT WE VALUE:

There are many fleeting moments in life that you will want to remember forever. We want you trust us to capture meaningful moments, emotion and details so that you don’t have to wonder in the back of your mind if “someone is capturing that”.   • COMPLETED. We got certified in Thailand of April 2024! Seriously, the best place to get certified because the water is so warm, you can really just focus on the dive. We hope to do more diving in Vancouver but we need to get dry suit certified first!

  • COMPLETED. Considering there are 21 seasons, this is a big deal.

  • COMPLETED. Currently, we have two golden retrievers. We first got Hunter in 2017 and then we got Honey in 2021! Golden Retrievers are our spirit animals. But for real, our home is pretty chaotic now with two kids and two dogs but we wouldn’t want it any other way!

  • COMPLETED. In our early 20’s we went on a month-long trip to Europe with a group of our best friends. There really is no better pizza than in Italy.

  • TBD…. Maybe keep us accountable on this one.

  • TBD. Morgan’s first vehicle was a 2002 Navy Blue Jeep TJ. It was her true first love. We were sad to see it go but now we absoloutley love our 4runner. But we’re getting pretty tempted to move onto the minivan life.

  • TBD. We love animals, what can we say?

  • TBD. We had some destination weddings on the books for 2020 before the pandemic hit. And we still have the itch!

  • TBD. Iceland is STUNNING for photography. We’d love to go there but we have a few other places to visit first! Like some family over in Australia.

  • TBD. We spent our 1st anniversary there and we picture spending our 50th there with out kids and hopefully grandkids!
